Fusion for AVS (Application Vulnerability Scanning) provides security assurance for critical applications through remote management of vulnerability scanning technologies residing on the customer premise. Using Vigilant’s co-sourcing model, it provides resource augmentation and specialized expertise associated with outsourcing, yet preserves the customer control and flexibility associated with a customer-owned and -resident technology solutions, leaving you in control of your security data. Through a lower-cost, shared service model, Fusion for AVS delivers the full benefit of your technology investment in application vulnerability scanning technologies.The service lifecycle begins with an assessment of your security environment and vulnerability scanning requirements through meetings with the various solution stakeholders, review of relevant security and change management policies, and remediation guidelines and procedures.
Vigilant translates these requirements into a solution design, and architects the AVS solution. We deploy the appropriate solution components, and conduct iterative tuning cycles needed to reduce false positives, update test signatures, and identify new assets to meet your unique testing requirements. Ongoing tuning and management then handed off to Vigilant’s remote support team through a secure VPN connection or dedicated leased line.
